New Adventure Starts Now, well actually it starts tomorrow...

Here we go on another adventure, tomorrow (if I get this blog written and posted today), I leave to go to New Zealand……So I thought I would just take a couple minutes to update you all on what is happening in the next phase of my journey… I came back to Canada mid December and it was so nice to catch up with a few of you and those that I haven’t seen, do not fear I am just gone for a few short months and then I will be back. So as I mentioned I leave tomorrow for New Zealand, and I am SUPER pumped… this is a dream come true, it has been on my bucket list for awhile now.  I will spend a month travelling around, seeing the sites as well as visiting some friends and then mid February I head to my Leadership Development Course for six weeks.  I am so looking forward to this course and have heard nothing but great things about it and I think it will be so beneficial to leading camp in the future. Life of Ingie as of late

What has been happening in the life of Ingie you may ask, I would tell you that is a good question.  I can believe where the time has gone.  It’s already the middle of May and in a month we will already be half done the school year.  CRAZY.  While the girls I work with have a lot going on in their lives and while at time it seems overwhelming I am very blessed to be working with them.   Such a difference from last year when everything seemed to be a fight, this year it feels like real work can be done know that a relationship has been formed and trust has been built. We have also split up the girls and have been doing smaller group discipleship with them, which has been good.   My girls have been honest and open and have some hard questions and have shared their doubts, which have been awesome that they are willing to be so honest, but please pray for me and for wisdom as I attempt to answer their questions.   There are two girls that a...

It Has Been Way to Long

Man oh man where has the time gone....... I can't believe that I will be home in six months and that my time here is half way gone, it real does just feel like yesterday since I left.... well maybe not yesterday but no where close to six months. So what has been happening that past two months..... Well for starters my parents came for a visit in May and that was soooo nice to see them and for them to see what I am doing down here. They came up with my one Saturday to the mission that the Australian "grandma" has and there were about 50 kids more or less. Needless to say after the day they were exhausted and me and a couple other volunteers that went up were telling them that the 16 kids at the school or way more exhausting then these 50 kids..... they didn't believe us untill they came to the school and met the children that are in my life and have worked their way into my heart. Speaking of my school children, its been a little rough on them as there have been alot...
