Where as the time gone… it was in my best intention to blog just a couple days after the mom’s camp, but life has been so crazy busy (I’m sure a lot of you can relate, especially with back to school time) and I just kept putting it off, as I have been running from here to there , or getting home late after running from here to there and having no energy to blog.  But alas here I am in my house at 2:44pm with no where else to go so I thought what a great time to blog.

The mom’s camp was AMAZING.  We had such a great time and we laughed so hard till my sides and cheeks hurt.  And these beautiful, amazing mom’s put their all into every activity.  It was so nice to hear how thankful they were for this time.  A lot of them are doing this journey of parenthood all alone and they have it tough and a lot of them commented on never taking the time for themselves and being able to leave all their worry and stresses behind, even if it was for just a couple days.  A lot of them also commented on how they haven’t laughed like this for a long time.  So just even that in itself was so special to me.

A lot of them also have had their kids come to camp and it was so neat, and special, and rewarding to hear testimonies from the mom of how much their child has changed and how special camp has been for their kids.  I was introduced to a to of them by who their children were.  One their kids even got up early to make her mom breakfast before coming to camp.  And one was told to bring black clothes just incase we play mission impossible….this was also very special to me.

I have mentioned so many times before how most, if not all of the kids that come to come, come with their head and hear full of lives of who they are.  They come with the belief that they aren’t worth anything and that they will never amount to anything and they they are unlovable and worthless.  Well these beautiful mama bears came with their heads and hearts full of the exact same lies but have had them on auto repeat for many more years.  So these mama bears needed to hear the truth to of how valuable and worthy and loved they are.  They heard these truths and heard how valuable they are as a woman and it was so touching to see these truths, which they have never heard, slowly make their way through these built up wall and touch the core of their hearts.  These beautiful women are God’s precious children as well and they to, just as much as their little kiddos needed to experience the joy and love of their Father, and that they did.  Another camp full of joy, laughter  and love.

Extra little updates:

Erika heads off to Chile on Wednesday.  It was quiet the journey for her and I am excited to see what God is going to do in her heart and life in these next five months.  If you want to help her out financially for her mission school let me know and I will give you the details.

Camp Gozo has been so blessed by all the support, financial and prayer, that it has gotten this year and we have run al most all the camps on the first chunk of money that came in at the begging of the year and that has just amazed me, but funds are running low and we have two more camps to do.  That is 50 more kids.  It costs about $100.00 to send one of these precious kids to camp, so if you would like to sponsor one please go to msccanada.org and under give search for Camp Gozo and the rest is straight forward.

Thank you once again for all your love and support.  Also please pray for energy for me.  It is close to the end of the year and I am pretty tired and running on low.  Thanks so much.
Lots of Love

Ingie
